Description
The BioClave™ line features high-grade stainless steel chambers and a sophisticated safety system, including both mechanical and electrical interlocks that prevent the door from opening until the pressure has safely reached 0 PSI. From the ultra-compact 8 L Mini to the high-capacity 28 L model, these autoclaves automate the entire process—fill, sterilize, exhaust, and dry—ensuring consistent results every time.
Features:
- Fully Automatic Operation - All segments of the cycle (fill, sterilize, exhaust, and dry) run to completion automatically
- Preset Cycle Programs - Optimized settings for liquids, wrapped instruments, unwrapped instruments, and plasticware
- Dual-locking safety door prevents opening during pressurized cycles; built-in over-temperature protection
- While preset for convenience, parameters can be fully adjusted for specialized applications (excluding the Mini model's fixed time)
- Clear interface for monitoring temperature, pressure, and remaining cycle time
- Units come with stainless steel trays and a specialized tray removal tool for safe handling of hot items
Special Applications Note:
- BioClave 28: This is the only model in the series capable of accommodating large 1 L and 2 L Erlenmeyer flasks and media bottles, making it the ideal choice for high-volume microbiology labs
- BioClave Mini: Offers fixed sterilization times but allows you to choose between 121°C and 134°C, perfect for quick turnarounds on small tools
