TLD Attends Pittcon 2023

From March 19 to March 22, The Lab Depot attended Pittcon 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. Pittcon is an annual international gathering of laboratory instrumentation specialists, vendors, and laboratory science professionals. Part convention, part exposition, the gathering provides an opportunity for a large portion of the laboratory science industry to gather in one place to hear, see, and experience the newest innovations in lab-related technology, practice, and procedures.
CEO John Seelke, CFO Jere Allen, Marketing Manager Danielle Schmidt, and Business Development Officer Mark Jones spent four days at Pittcon networking with seasoned, esteemed associates as well as new ones.
With TLD’s CEO serving as ILDA (International Laboratory Distributor’s Association) Board Chairman, the organization hosted a Member and Prospective Member Mixer as part of the Pittcon 2023 gathering on Sunday, March 19, with a great turnout. In addition to attending the larger exposition on Monday, March 20, TLD representatives attended a reception hosted by laboratory giant Thermo-Scientific that evening. Tuesday, March 21, was spent attending the expo and in meetings with different manufacturers, some of whom are in a marketing partnership with The Lab Depot. Some companies represented included United Scientific, Ricca, GVS, Yamato USA, Thermo Scientific, BEING, Mystaire, IW Tremont, Corning, Sol-M, Globe Scientific, and Benchmark Scientific/Accuris/MTC Bio.
