The CE compliant Across Int. 1200°C 1-zone, rotary top-open tube furnace functions with a compact, portable, lightweight design great for most benchtops. Heating is facilitated by spiral wire coils wrapped in Mitsubishi alumina fiber insulation. A double-walled steel internal housing helps minimize heat loss to the exterior surface, and its microprocessor helps monitor temperature control with an overheat protection feature and automatic shut-off when out of acceptable range. The furnace will also turn off when the top of the unit is opened.

The RTF1200 series compact top-open rotary tube furnace features spiral wire coils embedded in Mitsubishi (Japan) alumina fiber insulation. A double-walled steel internal housing helps minimize heat loss to the exterior surface. Furnace operation is controlled by a multi-segment digital controller.

Safety Features:
- Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
- Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is re-established
- Limit switch turns off furnace once top is open
- Warning: Never fill furnace with explosive gases, including Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide, and Methane
