AccuBlock™ Digital Dry Baths

AccuBlock™ Digital Dry Baths provide digital performance at analog prices. A stainless steel block chamber makes up the centerpiece of this equipment allowing a uniform transfer of heat for all samples. Single and dual block models are available. The single block unit will accept all standard blocks, and the dual block unit will accept two standard blocks or one specially designed dual block. Blocks are sold separately. An internal, self-standing AccuRack ™ holds samples in the block and can also be used as a workstation when prepping samples to put into the block. The rack is safe for use up to 150°C and is autoclavable. The microprocessor allows multiple high-level digital functions supporting accuracy and efficiency, including controlled temperature, calibration, and recording of testing results. You can even add a software package to connect the bath to any work or personal computer. A large, digital display continually shows the temperature for monitoring.

Microprocessor Controller:

A microprocessor regulates the high wattage heaters in these dry baths to provide precise, accurate control. The exact desired temperature is easily set using the arrow keys on the angled control panel while values are shown on the large digital display. No checking of a thermometer and readjusting temperature is necessary, providing better efficiency and productivity. The user calibration feature allows for easy calibration to in-house standards when required. Additionally, there is an RS232 port for recording block temperature activity. A data-logging software package is available to link the dry bath unit to any work or personal computer offering great versatility for any work environment.

Stainless Steel Block Chamber:

The block chamber of the Digital Dry Baths is constructed of stainless steel, which acts as a heat sink and provides a uniform transfer of heat from the heating elements to the interchangeable blocks. The resulting block uniformity is excellent, ensuring that all samples receive the same temperature treatment, regardless of their position in the block.

Rapid Tube Placement and Extraction:

The new AccuRack™ tube rack has a capacity for up to 20 x 1.5mL tubes and is designed to work with Labnet's most popular accessory block, the D1105A. The rack is self-standing for use as a workstation and can be directly loaded into the block for rapid tube placement and extraction. Insulated handles protect the user from the high block and sample temperatures. The AccuRack™ is safe for use up to 150°C and is autoclavable.
