Thermo Scientific Barnstead Diamond Cartridge Pack

•  The pack uses two types of activated carbon to adsorb both volatile and nonvolatile organic compounds and chlorine.  The highest purity semiconductor grade ion exchange resins are used to remove the last traces of ionic contaminants.

•  Systems fed with deionized water (DI) have their own pack and are designed to removed problematicorganic and colloidal compounds sometimes associated with central DI feed.

Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer

Measures and records real-time TOC

An option available for all Nanopure systems, the TOC analyzer continuously monitors and records TOC and resistivity data in real-time, so you can be sure that your ultrapure water exceeds the most stringent requirements for your sensitive applications.

Principles of Operation

A sample of product water is pulled into the analyzer every 3.5 minutes.

1.  Water from our Nanopure passes through a filter (1) and enters the UV reactor (2) and conductivity cell (3).  The conductivity cell measures the resistivity of the water.

2.  The high-intensity (185 and 254 nm) UV lamp then turns on and oxidizes any organic compounds present in the water in the UV reactor, producing CO².

3.  THe solenoid valve (4) then opens briefly to move the oxidized water from the reactor into the conductivity cell (3), where resistivity is measured again.

4.  The difference in resistivity resulting from the increased CO² concentration is used to calculate the TOC value, which is then displayed.

The Thermo Scientific Barnstead Easypure II RF (Reservoir Feed) series was specifically designed for scientists who require a portable purification system, capable of producing up to 15 L of ultrapure water per day from pretreated water.  Offered as two distinct models to suit your specific research needs, our basse unit produces ultrapure water suitable for general laboratory applications, whereas our Easypure II RF/UV has an internal dual wavelength UV lamp to reduce organics to the absolute lowest levels.

Thermo Scientific Barnstead E-Pure

Economical Type 1 water

The Thermo Scientific Barnstead E-Pure economically produces Type 1 water with the lowest operating costs of any system on the market.  Large cartridge provide longer cartridge life and an impressive system flow rate.

Product Features:

•  Resistivites up to 18.2 MΩ-cm and TOC levels below 10 ppb.

•  Birgin polypropylene water pathwaays prevent recontaminantion.

•  Recirculation pump continuously recirculates water throughout the entire system to maintain water purity and reduce the quantity of waste water required for rinse-up.

Remote Dispenser

Low Pressure Pump Protector

•  If you are feeding your E-Pure system from a pressurized feed line, it is to your advantage to ensure that the pump is fully protected with the use of hte low pressure pump protector.

•  Interrupts power if pressurized feed water line pressure falls below 5 psig (0.35 kg/cm²).

•  Includes 6 ft. (1.8 m) cord which plugs directly into the E-Pure.

•  Complete with 1/4" NPT "T" to install in your feed line.

Low Water Level Pump Protector

•  If feeding your E-pure from a storage reservoir, it is recommended that a low water pump protector be added to the E-Pure system.  This will ensure that the pump is protected in the event the reservoir does not have a sufficient quantity of water to satisfy the requirements of the system.

•  Adaptable to most storage reservoirs, providing a 1/2" NPT connecion is available.  Includes 6 ft. (1.8 m) cord which plugs directly into the E-Pure.
